“Dear Al,
How can words even begin to express my thanks for the delicious, wonderful, beautiful and perfect buffet you prepared for our family at Doug’s Funeral. I can’t remember when I have been so moved.
I hope you heard the sweet comments from our guests at the pretty setting you put before us. What a special gift you gave our family.
Doug would have been so happy to see the friends who came to the funeral. He was such a down to earth man who knew how to be a friend to all he met and took pride in having those friends.
He will be missed by all of his family. To think I had 67 short years with him - it still wasn’t enough - but I know he is in such a more wonderful home and have to smile. Al, your mom “learned” you to be a special man with lots of love in your heart.”
